But to (hopefully) kick off the spring, here is some pro-bono artwork I did for a friend who is adopting a baby from Ethiopia. They have the opportunity to sell t-shirts in an effort to raise funds with friends and family to cover the adoption costs. This couple is so passionate about this adoption, which made the designs easy for me. It's amazing to watch the journey this couple has been embarked on. There is so much that goes into adopting from another country! Read about their journey or buy a t-shirt (or two!) to help support them.

Two months later...
Yikes, my last post was January 12. Apparently I'm not being as good as I should be about posting in 2010. I blame it on that whole new mommy thing. Suddenly I lose all track of time!

Oxbow Living Stationery and Brochure
This stationery package was designed especially for Oxbow Living in Ashland, Nebraska. It included letterhead, a #10 business envelope and business card design. All pieces utilize the colors from their logo for a fresh, clean look.

This brochure was designed as something the client could print on their own printer. They were looking for something that was easily readable and displayed not only their living features, but the floor plans as well.

Simply Elegant Wedding Invitations
This post is a little past due since this wedding was in May, but these are timeless and seasonless invitations. The paper was a natural white shimmer cardstock printed in metallic gold ink and all were nestled nicely in a pocketfolder wrapped with an antique gold ribbon and topped with a nice monogram card. I haven't seen any pictures from the wedding itself, but I heard that it was very elegant! Liz and Andy, I wish you the best on your journey together and it truely was a pleasure working with you both!

Popular Thank You Postcards
Jaqueline and Louis took advantage of these great black and white postcards to thank all their family and friends for being a part of the best day of their lives. Not only are they thanking them but sharing a memorable photo too. What a great looking couple and they were so great to work with. Be sure to check out my past posts to see what all of their wedding pieces looked like.

Bike MS Poster
A good friend and former co-worker of mine asked me to support her Bike MS fundraising efforts by designing a poster along with four other designers. You can see my design below and check out the other posters on her Bike MS website.
Oxbow Living Logo
Oxbow Living Center is a retirement community that is being built in Ashland, Nebraska. Because of a recommendation from a previous co-worker, they approached me to design their logo based on some initial sketches they provided to me.

Jace Baby Announcement/Shower Invitation Postcard
Jace came a little early so the hostess used the same design for both an announcement and shower invitation. We printed some with the shower information on the back and the others only had the photo and return address.
